Schedule for Sunday, October 22
Sunday Morning Services: We will continue our regular two-service schedule this Sunday, with services at 8:30 and 10:45 AM.
Eric Chesney, Church Plant Resident, will preach at both services.
Between services, Eric will be sharing important elements of the vision for the new church plant, which will launch in the Fall of 2024.
Our regular calendar of other weekly events, as described AT THIS LINK, will be in place through the rest of the week.
What's on the Calendar?
Church Plant Update: On Sunday, October 22, between services, Eric Chesney, our Church Plant Resident, will be sharing important elements of the vision for the new church plant, which will launch in the Fall of 2024. He will be describing next steps for those who may be feeling God's call to be a part of the lead-up and launch of the new church plant. This is a session you won't want to miss.
The Little Women Society (4th - 12th grade girls & their moms) are having a gathering on October 21 from 3-5 PM in the Church Fellowship Hall to talk about hospitality. Our mentor, Jo Janssen, will be using creative activities to help the girls develop ideas they can use to practice hospitality in various settings.
The Valor Collective (4th - 12th grade boys & their dads) are having their first gathering on October 28 from 3-5 PM. Come join us to eat some food together, learn a fun skill, and have some time where we learn about men who have followed after God. Our skill for the first gathering will be how to make chainmail! For more information, please reach out to Matt Stata.
Single Service Sunday: The 29th will be the 5th Sunday in October, so we will have a single service at 9:30 AM, followed by a community potluck brunch. Please mark your calendars for the 5th Sunday service time and be thinking about what you'll bring to the potluck brunch.
A Special "Trunk or Treat" Event
Planning is underway for a Trunk or Treat Event in the Holy Trinity parking lot on the Sunday before Halloween -- that would be October 29 from 5 to 7 PM. Come have a spooktacular time with our Gleneagle community, playing trunk games, eating desserts and candy, and enjoying fellowship in the HTAC parking lot. Come dressed for the costume contest or prepare a dessert for the cake walk. Appropriate costumes welcome as we celebrate All Hallowtide. If you’re interested in setting up a trunk stop game or helping with the costume contest or cake walk, PLEASE SIGN UP HERE.
