CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT PROCESS
To ensure the safety and security of our children, we have implemented a simple process to check your child into their catechesis class and to check your child out when it’s time to return to the main service. The following video explains the process:
In order to use the check-in process, you will need to have an account in our CCB environment for yourself, and your children need to be listed. You can set up a CCB account through the form at THIS LINK.
You can find additional information on the process in the following documents:
Children’s Ministry
Holy Trinity seeks to partner with parents in their children’s spiritual formation through catechesis, offered from the beginning of September to the end of May. Our curriculum is God’s Big Story from the Anglican Network in Canada that is Gospel driven, distinctively Anglican, and representative of the entire narrative of God’s ongoing story.
Catechesis takes place during the sermon and prayers of the people portion of the second service and runs about 40 min. Children begin and end worship in the service with their families: Level 1—age 4 through kindergarten, Level 2—1st grade through 3rd, and Level 3—4th through 6th grade. Parents are always welcome to visit and observe. For any questions, please contact Heather at heather@holytrinityanglicanchurch.org.
SAFEGUARDING
Holy Trinity follows the safeguarding protocols of the Anglican Diocese of the Rocky Mountains. Applications include
· Two adults who have had background checks and taken safeguarding training will be present with children.
· Parents change diapers.
· Bottles are the only food given in the nursery.
· Lap-sitting is allowed only for nursery-age children.
· Parents are texted to take older children to the restroom, or a volunteer may walk children to the restroom door if necessary.
· Adults with receipts from check-in are allowed to pick up children from catechesis.
drm Policy manual for the protection of children
We are absolutely committed to the care and protection of children. This Diocesan Policy Manual outlines the specifics of that commitment and the systems and process that we follow to fulfill that commitment.
