SUNDAY SERVICE SCHEDULE FOR FALL 2021

Drum roll please. . !

Here's what your clergy and staff and leadership team are planning for the Fall 2021 kickoff of services at Holy Trinity Anglican Church:

SUNDAY WORSHIP SERVICES

  • Beginning on Sunday, September 12, we will have 2 services on Sunday morning. The early service will begin at 8:30 AM and will be a "classic" Anglican service. The second service will begin at 10:45 AM and will be somewhat more "modern" in feel and in music, but still unmistakably Anglican.

PRESCHOOL THRU 6TH GRADE - DISCIPLESHIP (TCT)

  • Children's TCT classes will be held between the services, from approximately 9:55 to 10:35 AM.

SUNDAY NURSERY

  • The nursery will be available and staffed (God willing) for both services and for the "between services" time.

ADULT SUNDAY FELLOWSHIP

  • Adults will have an open fellowship time between the services with coffee, tea and finger foods. We hope to share the load of providing food for the fellowship time by assigning 4 or 5 different families to provide food each week. We anticipate that this "hybrid potluck" model will ask that a particular family help with the food only once a quarter or so.

FIRST FRIDAYS

  • We will offer a new "First Friday" evening service on the first Friday of every month. The form and format of these evening services will vary, but all will be designed to offer an opportunity for deep and contemplative connection with our Lord and Savior Jesus.

MIDDLE AND HIGH SCHOOL DISCIPLESHIP

  • Middle School and High School discipleship will continue to be offered through the MS Boys, MS Girls and HS youth groups on a weekly schedule set by the groups and their leaders.

ADULT DISCIPLESHIP

  • Adult discipleship will be offered through a variety of contexts, including Life Groups, Men's Groups and Ladies Groups, Bible studies, and special topical classes, offered both in person and across Zoom.

Details are still being worked out, and there are many of them. Stay tuned for ongoing reports of our progress.

You can find a helpful graphic, showing the major parts and pieces of the new plan, at THIS LINK.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Expanding to two services will mean we need volunteers to help make all of this happen. Your small clergy and staff team cannot do it all. We will be reaching out to the existing team leaders (such as the Music Team and the Altar Guild) to recruit folks to help with all the parts and pieces that are required to pull off these services. Please consider helping!

Of particular importance is the nursery. If you are willing and able to help with the staffing of the nursery, please let us know right away.

As always, if you have questions or comments, please reach out to the Church Office. We are very exciting to see what God will do, as we move into this new season.
