We're Building a Team for Fridays in the Fall!

Come join us at 11:30 AM on Sunday, June 13, for an informational and organizational meeting regarding the weekly Friday Evening Communion service scheduled to return in the Fall.

The test run of 6 Friday evening services in April and May was well received and well attended. We are very excited at the prospect of restarting this new weekly service in September!

We have identified several important elements that must be in place for the new service to be sustainable over more than just a couple of months:

We need a couple of volunteers for the music team to sing and play instruments.
We need a group of volunteers willing to serve on the tech desk (sound and slides), on the Altar Guild (service setup and cleanup), and as readers of Scripture and other parts of the liturgy.
Ideally, we need volunteers who can staff the nursery, so we can adequately support families with small children.

The meeting on Sunday, the 13th, will offer an opportunity to talk about these needs, to explore options and suggestions for meeting these needs, and to answer questions about the current plans for the Friday services.

If you are interested in attending the coming Friday services, or if you are willing to be a part of the team that will support the services, please plan to come to the Sunday meeting. We anticipate the conversation will take less than an hour.
