SPRING YARD CLEANUP

The winter has taken its toll!

Pine needles are covering the back patio. Shrubs are overgrowing the paths. Weeds are taking over the planting beds. Everything needs to be trimmed. And the wind has blown trash into every corner. We need a spring cleaning.

Saturday, June 12 @ 9 AM

We're planning a work party to get our property and the areas around the building exterior spruced up for the summer. Bring your yard tools, your work gloves, your smiling face, and your boundless energy on Saturday, June 12, and help us tackle this needed work. We'll have coffee and tea and some snacks for those who come out. Bring the kids! With a good turnout, we predict the work will be done in under two hours.

A Gas Hedge Trimmer

One of the more challenging tasks will be trimming the hedges around the building. It's easy work with a gas hedge trimmer, because we don't have to deal with power cords or outlets. If you have a gas trimmer, bring it, along with yourself, to the work party. If you can't make it but are willing to let us use your gas trimmer, please contact Dick Battersby to make arrangements.

TWO ADDITIONAL REMINDERS ABOUT DISCIPLESHIP CLASSES:

Family Discipleship and Youth Discipleship WILL meet this Sunday, May 30. The Family class meets at 9 AM, and the Youth class meets at 11:30 AM.
Both classes - Family and Youth - will NOT meet during June, while we develop plans for the remainder of the summer and the fall.
