Community Service Opportunity
Last month, Little Women Society, Valor Collective, and our youth group volunteered to spruce up Antelope Trails for COSILoveYou’s spring CityServe event.
Hey, they want us back!
On Saturday, July 27 from 9 AM to Noon, we will participate in a community giving event to bless the Antelope Trails Elementary School. In partnership with Woodmen Valley Chapel, we will be working on the community garden, front landscaping, and painting buddy benches.
If you’re interested in serving our community in this way, there will be a sign-up coming soon.
Summer Concert Sponsored by the Anselm Society
Saturday, August 3, 2024 — 6:30 to 9:00 PM at Holy Trinity Anglican Church (map)
The Anselm Society invites you to attend an end-of-summer concert from Nashville-based international singer-songwriter Stephanie Staples here at Holy Trinity Anglican Church.
From Anselm Society's website: Stephanie’s studio albums tell part of her story but it is in her live performances that she truly shines, captivating audiences and fostering a reflective and prayerful atmosphere as she pours the full depth of her life experiences into her music, not shying away from the reality of suffering and dark times but reflecting a light that persists through it all. Her songs are soothing, reflective, and hopeful and many have said that her humor and stories shared between songs have similar impact.
We will start the evening with acoustic Celtic music by the Anselm Celtic Band, followed by a live performance from Stephanie, and a fellowship and dessert potluck in the Fellowship Hall.
Tickets available soon!
Summer Sermon Series
We will be running a special Sunday sermon series through the summer on Paul's letter to the Church in Philippi (the Book of Philippians). Please join us!!
Our clergy will be preaching on the theme of
Joy! The serious business of Heaven on Earth.
To supplement the weekly sermon content, our own Dr. Sid Webb will be offering weekly reflections on the Philippians passages via his YouTube channel, which you can find at the following link:
