HTAC Little Women Society
Young Ladies in grades 5-12 (and their moms)Saturday, August 20th from 3-5pm in Holy Trinity’s Fellowship Hall
Topic: Becoming a Woman of Prayer
Activity: Handcrafting Anglican Prayer Beads with Betsy Luminati
Holy Trinity Anglican Church is forming a new discipleship group for young ladies in grades 5-12. The Little Women Society is a nod to the classic story in which four very unique sisters and their mother and father live out their strong faith and strive for virtue while learning from and leaning on each other.
This group will be formative in spiritual and practical ways as we gather each month with mamas and other mentor women in the church to pray, discuss a Biblical virtue, memorize Scripture, and fellowship through hands-on skills, projects, service, outreach, and more.
Join us for our initial gathering as we focus on becoming a woman of prayer. Betsy Luminati will demonstrate how to handcraft Anglican prayer beads and will share an array of beautiful ways to use Scripture, creeds, and collects to engage our little women in active prayer lives.
Each young woman will make her own set of prayer beads to take home as well as receive a prayer booklet to help guide her prayer life.
Tea will be served as well as an assortment of delicacies!
Please RSVP by Thursday, August 11th to Lara Stata - doxa.en.theo@gmail.com.
