This Sunday, we will introduce the topic at our Second Sunday Stories in a question-and-answer format, moderated by Pastor Chris Stroup. This week, we are fasting from media and music. Don’t watch your usual shows, listen to your normal audio entertainment, or get information from paper or digital news sources. Turn off the TV, Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, YouTube and other visual entertainment. Make space for time with God!
Newcomers Lunch and Membership Class
We have scheduled our first Newcomers Lunch and our first Membership Class of the new year. The Newcomers Lunch will be held after our Sunday services on March 20. The lunch will run from about 12:15 to 2:00 PM. If you'd like to attend this informal, Q&A session with Pastor Matt and others from the HTAC clergy, staff and leadership, If interested, you can sign up at THIS LINK.
The membership class will be held on Sunday, March 27 from 2 PM to 5 PM at the Church. The Membership Class reviews the theology and history of Holy Trinity and of Anglicanism in general. Spring CityServe Announcement
Finally, we have received word that COSILOVEYOU is doing a Spring CityServe event in 2022. CityServe Day is a no-strings-attached, city-wide day of service where “all are welcome to serve and be served.” The motivation is simple – when a city prospers, so do its people. Join as we serve schools, parks, local non-profit organizations, and neighborhoods, serving some of the most prominent needs in our city. This event is meant to simply be a starting place, inspiring the community to be engaged with needs in Colorado Springs year-round! You can see the full list of service projects and sign up for one of the two weekend days (April 30 and May 7) at THIS LINK on the CityServe website.
