Adult Discipleship Class - The Humanity of Jesus ­­­­

The third and final installment of Glenn Paauw's adult discipleship class on “The Humanity of Jesus” will happen this coming Sunday (Dec 18) at 9:50 AM (between Sunday services) in the Holy Trinity Sanctuary. Here's a brief description of the class.

When faithful Christians saw the doctrine of the divinity of Jesus being threatened, they responded by re-emphasizing this classic, orthodox element of the faith. But have we lost sight of the humanity of Jesus? Does it really matter?

Here’s what we’ll explore in this three-week Advent series:

Dec 4    The kind of human the story is looking for.

Dec 11    The human Jesus who was with us

Dec 18    The human Jesus who will be with us

Annual Business Meeting & Chili Cookoff ­­­­

The Holy Trinity Annual Business Meeting for 2023 (where we vote on the budget) and the Annual Chili Cookoff are happening a little later than usual in 2023. We will have a single service at 9:30 AM on Sunday, January 22, followed immediately by the Annual Meeting, followed immediately by the Chili Cookoff and a congregation-wide potluck lunch.
