BACKPACKS FOR KIDS!!

The 2021 Backpack Bash, coordinated by the community support organization, COSILOVEYOU, for Colorado Springs school children, is coming up to its distribution events on the next two Saturdays, July 31 and August 7.

There remains a lot of work to do between now and the end of the campaign, and we want to be part of the effort to make this community support event a resounding success.

COSILOVEYOU needs volunteers, especially next week, to help stuff backpacks with all of the school supplies donated by people across the region. They have preparation events on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week (August 2, 3 and 4). Pastor Matt, Deacon Mark and Leadership Team member, Tom Zepf, are signed up to stuff backpacks on Tuesday, the 3rd, in the morning.

Volunteer spots are still available on these additional dates: 28 on Monday morning, 26 on Monday afternoon, 20 on Wednesday morrning and 15 on Wednesday afternoon. In addition, there are 20 openings on Saturday morning (Aug 7) to help with distribution of the backpacks at the Hillside Community Center.

We would love to see a huge response from the Holy Trinity family to fill these needed volunteer slots and to help bring the Backpack Bash across the finish line!
