Welcome COS - Pillow and Towel Drive

Newly arriving refugees are provided with basic household items when they move into their first apartment.  Welcome COS is partnering with Holy Trinity to meet one area of need in their new homes.  We’re collecting pillows and bath towels as a tangible way to show the love of Christ to our neighbors in need.  Donations will be gathered at the church, and then Welcome COS will deliver them to our local refugee resettlement agency to be placed in refugee homes.   

Our goal as a church is to collect new pillows (Walmart sells them for $5-$8!) and bath towels (can be new or gently used).  We would love to see a big turnout for this donation drive.  We encourage you to involve your families as a learning opportunity about refugees and what it would be like to arrive in a new country with only a bag of clothes.  We will be collecting on Sunday Oct 6 and 13th, so please consider grabbing a pillow or two next time you’re at the store! And we all have that set of extra bath towels that we never use!
