Confirmation will take place when Bishop Ken visits Holy Trinity on Pentecost Sunday, June 8th.
Confirmation is referred to as Lay Ordination because in it we call upon God, the Holy Spirit to confirm or renew the faith we all have in Jesus - whether our faith took root as an adult or God has brought us to the completion of the vows taken in faith on our behalf at baptism. Further, it is also a time when we ask the Holy Spirit to reveal and confirm the calling He has placed on us - in the immediate or long term. In this, we pray the Holy Spirit will reveal or bestow gifting and confirm your identity and mission as a child of God who is destined to be His eternal heir.
